It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Elwin Bennett of Enid, Oklahoma, born in Manchester, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bennett and Inez Bennett; his siblings, Floyd Bennett and Betty Bryant; and his siblings-in-law, John Terry, Wes Sallee and Lavada Bennett.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bellamy; his daughters, Teresa Buckles (David) of Enid, OK, Melissa Alwert (Canuky) of Owasso, OK and Cori Young (Gary) of Lubbock, TX; his grandchildren, Shaun Buckles (Chelsey), Shanna Winterbank (Michael), Shaphen Alwert, Mikaela Weatherly (Sean), Hannah Alwert, Elijah Alwert (MacKenzie), Katie Young and Cooper Young; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Madden Winterbank; and his siblings, Bob Bennett (Carolyn), Minnie Terry, Iona Sallee and Marjorie Simmons (C. W.).
