She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Benson and Betty Moore Benson; and her sister Jennifer Benson. She is survived by: her husband Charles Howard; her children, Joy Ruiz (Craig) and Bobby Howard (Heather); and her sister Kathy Walker. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
