As Orval departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Orval. Though Orval may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Nichols and Cora Nichols (Morris); his daughter Barbara Post (David) of Austin, TX; and his wife Ruth. He is survived by: his children, Sherryl Perry of Tampa, FL, Tim Nichols (Vanita) of Houston, TX, Tom Nichols (Lori) of Enid and Amy Siebert (Archie) of Enid. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Crosspoint Church or Grace Mennonite Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
