She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raper and Artie Frances Raper (Johnson); her husband Eugene A. Wood; her children, Seibrena Kawsak and Johnny A. Wood; her grandson Wayne E. Kawcak; and her friend Red Layman.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Laura Kawcak of Enid, Andrea Kawcak of Spokane, CO, Matthew Thompson of San Antonio, TX, Heidi Finley of Lakesteven, WA, Becky Dunn of Tacoma, WA, Kevin Wood of Enid, OK and Sean Wood of Enid; and her great grandchildren, Jeramy, Kaylie, Britnie, Shelby, Jacob, Nickie, Dale, Erin, Christy, Isaac, Miles, Ellis and Cody. She is also survived by thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Opal's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
