He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marjorie Baldwin and Pearl Thorp. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, James Jackson of Elk City, Michael Jackson of Stillwater, Matt Gorman (Sara) of Enid and Michelle McCain (Sandy) of Enid; his grandchildren, Johnathon, Magan, Zachary, Dylan, Sunshine, Trey, Jacob, Jessika, Garrett and Kinsey; and his significant other Jim Kness. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Newt's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or FurEver Friends with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
