The memory of Mary Strait of Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Porter and Ruth Porter (Doggett); and her sisters, Ruth Kent and Betty Rathjen. She is survived by: her husband Jim Strait; her son Jonathan Strait; and her brother Mike Porter of Enid.
