She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch T Peery and Kathryn Peery (Wells); and her husband U. Grant Nevitt. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Silva (John) of Granbury, TX, Carolyn Allen (Don) of Florence, AZ and Stanley Nevitt (Barbara) of Enid, OK; her grandchildren, Lisa, Barney Fadal of Seguin, TX, Sonja Silva of Jenks, OK, Shane, Stacey Smith of Belton, MO, Carrie, Abe Assad of Tempe, AZ, Tanner Nevitt of Enid, OK, Casey, Nicole Caddell of Enid, OK, Meredith, Cody Westfahl of Enid, OK and Corey Caddell of Kingfisher, OK; and her brother John Peery (Phyllis) of Campbellsville, KY. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home (2800 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel (2800 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (401 W Randolph Ave, Enid, OK 73701).
Memorials may be made to the YWCA, OK Complete Hospice, CARE Ministries of FUMC, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
