He is survived by: his wife Kerrie Helgeson (KC); his children, Christopher Schaffler (Sarah) of Enid, Preston Burgess and Jennie Nettles (Dee) of Conroe; his grandson Samson Nettles of Conroe; his siblings, Mike Burgess (Ruth) of Wilson, Marsha Smart (Sam) of Enid, Leonard Hunt of Redfield, David Hunt (Raeann) of Enid, Brian Blimka (Mary) of Clarkston, Brenda Clark of Garber and Diane Hunt of Breckinridge; his nieces and nephews, Kyla Burgess, Katie Smart (Mason), Mya Smart, Lori McDonald (Dan), Linda Batson (Donald), Tammy Martin (Chris), Shawna Hunt, Mary Beth Tibbits, Jessica Wallis (Brian), Ashley Alexander, Bill Hunt (April), Tommy Hunt, Terry Alexander (Lindsay), Joey Alexander, Justin Hunt (Jamie), Gerald Johnson (Tandra) and Daniel Johnson; his stepdaughter Katelyn Prunty (Jeremiah); his stepgrandchildren, Magnolia and Rhett Prunty of Ferris, TX.; his brother-in-law Kenneth Goodnight of Enid; his friends, Richard and Laresa Thompson; his pets, Bubba and Roxie; and also Pam Hunt of Enid.
