She was predeceased by: her parents, Velma Poore and Harold Poore. She is survived by: her brothers, Wesley and Vernon; her former spouse Carol David Honeycutt; her husband Jim Bass; her stepchildren, Jimmy and Ruby; her close friend Brenda Lester; her brother Ronald R. Poore; her grandson Sam Smith; and also Mark Lester. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
