With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Ella Hess (Enid, Oklahoma), born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Sam Akin. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hess; her children, Julie Ward (Bob) of Vian, Bill Leigh of Tahlequah, Jon Leigh (Lanea) of Sallisaw, Brandi Akin (Joe) of Enid and Gayla Crum of Enid; her grandchildren, Tresha, Lacie, Alix, Wes, Hope, Billy, Amanda and Mackenzie; and her great grandchildren, Emily, Cash, Her, Lucy, Hollis, Mattox, Claire, Tori, Kori, Bricelynn and Porter.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Paul's Lutheran School.
