He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred J. Gragert and Dorothea Gragert (Meyer); his siblings, Merton, Forest Gragert and Helen Gragert Wyssmann; and his daughter Ruth Marie Walton.
He is survived by: his wife Opal H. Heim; his son-in-law Montie Walton; his grandchildren, Amy Young Doyle (Warren), Jennifer D. Adler, Kyle R. Young (Nikki), Amanda Adler Scherdin (Jeffrey), Toby G. Young and Kristopher J. Adler; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Camryn, Mia Grace Doyle, Kylee, Coltyn Young, Avery Scherdin and Kaleb Coleman; his stepgrandsons, Dustin Walton (Lindsey) and Perry Walton (Nicole); his great grandchild Gabriel; and also, Lucas, Madelyn, Jack, Abagail and Hannah.
