He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gloria Jean Smith and Jantz; his former wife Karen Luckett; his wife Joy Lohmann Gosney; his son Derek Smith (Camrin); his grandchildren, Daltan, Dietrich of Owasso and Drake Smith (Liz); his great grandchildren, Slade of Enid and Dylan (Stacie); his daughter Miranda Gosney DeCook (Brian); his grandchild Lawson; his sister Diana Smith; and also, Macyn, Maddox of Owasso, Drew (Chelsea), Emery and Sutton.

Memorials may be made to Woodring Wall of Honor or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
