He was predeceased by: his parents, Erhardt Schoeling and Pauline Frickenschmidt Schoeling; and his brothers, Kenneth, Virgil, Edgar, Keith and Glen.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Schoeling of Douglas; and his nephew Richie (Kim Schoeling). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Tri-County Sr. Citizens Center or Zion Lutheran Church building fund, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
