He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Caywood and Wilda Wilcox Caywood; his son Kelly Caywood, Jr.; his grandson Cash Alan Caywood; and his brother Monte Caywood.

He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Stacie Caywood) and Cody (Angie); his grandchildren, Sydnie, Haylie, Kailyn, Preslee and Crue; his sister Carol Risor; his nieces, Carolyn Wagner, Donna Sanders, Marie Caywood and Sincy Caywood; and his nephew Scott Caywood.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Ally's House to help families of children fighting cancer.
