It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lafate Rodgers of Enid, Oklahoma, born in Checotah, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Palmer Lockhart and Pollyanna Lockhart (Thompson); her great grandchild Evelyn Balch; and her sister Loretta Worthy. She is survived by: her husband Hershel Rodgers; her children, Kyle Lee (LaTonya) of Enid, Denise Jeanene (Jeff Treagesser) of Henryetta, Sheila Rodgers of Oklahoma City and Tammy Synoweicki of Honolulu, HI; her grandchildren, Colt Treagesser of Henryetta, Darla Rodgers Balch of Enid, Kady Treagesser of Sapulpa, Whitney (Damyen Pangle) of Henryetta, Alyssa Synoweicki of Phoenix, AZ, Jaylee Treagesser of Henryetta and Amanda Synoweicki of Honolulu, HI; her great grandchildren, Tara, Ashton Balch and Millie Treagesser; her children, Jeff and Nikki Clark; and her granddaughters, Miranda and Melissa. She is also survived by two brothers, three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews.
