He is survived by: his parents, Howard Eugene and Virginia Marcella Freeman McCaslin; his son Kenny McCaslin; his wife Mary Lou; his son Martin Wayne (Daphne); his grandchildren, Misty Zupko (Steven), Nicolas McCaslin and Tonina McCaslin; his siblings, Rose Green, Tim McCaslin (Sherry) and Steve McCaslin (Pam); and also, Ralph Green and Larry Smithhisler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

“John McCaslin was my cousin. I have not seen him since I was a child. My parents, John and Ellen Montgomery, took me to Danville KS. for family gatherings when I was young. About 20 years ago, I found a phone number for John and had a visit with him. I believe he had been injured in an accident. I have been doing some searches for family members recently and came across this obituary. I am sad to know that he passed less than one year ago. I would love to have spoken with him again. I know that his brother Steve and wife Pam are still living in Danville and would very much like to connect with them. I offer sincere condolences to all family members.
