He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hurst and Drusilla Hurst (Loomis); his in-laws, Dawson and Ruby Bowers; his brothers, Dwayne Hurst and Ivan Hurst; and his sister-in-law Shirely Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Retha Hurst (Bowers); his children, Justin Hurst (Jodi) of Wichita, Scotty Hurst (Debie) of Enid and Kimberly Miller (Mike) of Tulsa; his brother Bill Hurst of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Austin, Sara Hurst, Tyler, Lindsay Hurst, Daniel, Kensi Hurst, Kylee, Joe Day, Taylor, Elli Hurst, Megan, Cooper Ward, Madison, Jake Vanderslice and Mackenzie Miller; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ella Hurst, Cole, Caroline, Pete Hurst, Luke, Zeke Day, Noble, Field, Ivy and Roy Hurst.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home (3002 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel (3002 N Van Buren St, Enid, OK 73703).
Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
