It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jesse Carl Kephart (Enid, Oklahoma), who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Kephart and Arline Foster Kephart; his sister Eloise Marie; his siblings-in-law, Ray and Norine Dumler; and his son-in-law Jerry Scott.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sisters, Shirley Garrett of Watonga and Ginger; his brother-in-law Terry Spencer of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Derrick, Kristin Scott, Kelby, Regan Scott, Rochelle, Zach Nichols, Jesse Cassingham (Siena Wolverton), Kylee Blehm, Cale Blehm, Shelby, Makyla Long, Kooper Long, Jake Sinclair and Jarrett Sinclair; and his great grandchildren, Jesse, Cole, Lyndlea, Jaxson, Brykin, Kinsley, Leddy, Tali and Oakley. He is also survived by his 4 daughters and son in laws.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Canton Christian Church.

“I’d like to extend our deepest sympathy to Judy Kephart and family. Jesse was one of a kind. I have wonderful memories of going to visit Aunt Arline and Uncle Willis as a kid and the times that Jesse and Willis tried to teach me how to ride horses and herd cattle. I’m sure they had tears of laughter watching a city kid hanging on for dear life trying to be a cowboy. Tom and Lynn Foster”
