He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Burpo and Eunice Burpo (Miller); and his siblings, J. H. Burpo, Lewis Burpo and Bernice Schwind.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amanda Ziemendorf (Matt) of Mesa, Arizona, Michael Jones of Houston, Texas, Sam Burpo of Billings, Montana, Jake Burpo (Haley) of Wichita, Kansas and John Burpo (Yaroslava) of Andover, Kansas; his great grandchildren, Leah and Asher Ziemendorf; and his brother Jerry Burpo (Jane) of Moore, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
