He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schmidt and Fern Schmidt (Breihan). He is survived by: his wife Sue Freese of Lucien, OK.; his sons, Byron Schmidt (Amy) of Stillwater, MN, Darin Schmidt (Gail) of Elk City, OK and Jeff Schmidt of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Aden, Mason, Olivia, Gavin, Jessica, Jenna and Adason Schmidt; and his brother Lynn Schmidt of Dacula, GA. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
