He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gunning and Zulema Gunning; and his brother Harold Gunning. He is survived by: his brother Larry Gunning; his children, Barbara Ann Powers (Jerry) and Jerry Lynn Gunning; his grandsons, Dustin Gunning and Ben Powers; and his great grandchildren, Katherine and Marissa Gunning.
