She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Dutton and Rozella Dutton (Holt); her husband Richard R. Chavez; and her siblings, Billie Mae Mootz and Jerry Dutton.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle, James Brian, Melissa, Mike Phillippe, Richard Curtis Chavez and Missy Chavez; and her sister-in-law Letitia Sue Dutton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Janet's name may be made to Complete Home Health Hospice or American Cancer Society, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
