He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Thelma Weems (Robertson); his children, Jim Weems, Misti McCreary, Delana Whisenhunt and Kristen Tinoco; his brother John Wylie Weems Jr.; his wife Sandra Weems; and his father John Weems, Sr.. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
