Irene Astley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Astley of Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Slater and Daisy Slater (Stapp); her husband Glenn Astley; and her siblings, Clara Miller, Louise Pearson, Maxine Tindle and Jimmy Earl Slater.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda (Doug Green) of Enid, David Astley of Enid and Gary Astley (Cristina) of Edmond; her grandchildren, Anna Clair Astley, Dustin Green and Casey Green (Tina); her great grandchildren, KinLee, Karsyn, Logan and Kobie Green; and her brothers, Gary, John and Lewis Slater.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in her honor to the Methodist Children's Home, Gideons, or New Hope United Methodist Church with Brown-Cummings Serving as custodian of the funds.
