It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert Nelson (Enid, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 10, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Wahl Nelson and John Herbert Nelson; his daughter Rhonda; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his spouse Donita Cates; his children, Daren, Traci Heffron, Heather Nelson and Keith Robinett; his grandchildren, Kaeley, Megan, Kennedy, Brittany, Madison and Sutton; his great grandchildren, Trace, Lily, Ryker and Molly; his stepgrandchildren, Zoe, Journe, Laci, Brooklyn, Kodee, Jazlyn, Austin and Stryker; and his brother Richard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a wealth of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or to Fresh Start Fellowship "Peace Island" to fund food for the children's house in Monrovia, Liberia that was a favorite charity of Herb's.
