She was predeceased by: her parents, Onno Heidebrink and Paulene Sterler Heidebrink; and her brothers, Arnold Heidebrink and Robert Heidebrink. She is survived by: her husband Darold Hollander; her children, Carmel Shook of Yantis, Texas and Todd Hollander of Enid; her grandsons, Christopher Shook, Dusty Shook and Taylor Hollander; her great grandchildren, Aspen, Gianna and Boston; and also Mavis Palmer of Spirit Lake, Iowa..

Memorials may be made in her honor in lieu of flowers to the Marfan foundation with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
