She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Geis and Lola Geis; her husbands, Paul Schickedanz and Mickey; and her stepson Mark.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Kyle (Schickedanz) and Lance Schickedanz; her cousin Margaret Smith; her children-in-law, Jeff Kyle and Jennifer Schickedanz; her granddaughters, Hannah Kyle Austin, Abigail Kyle, Rachel Kyle, Sarah Kyle, Hayley Schickedanz and Maia Schickedanz; her great grandchild Henry Austin; and her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Hill, Joshua Hill and Grace Hill Eldridge.
Memorial contributions in Gladys's name may be made to OMRF Heart or Diabetes Foundation, or the Grace Mennonite Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
