He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Bouchard of Enid; and his sister Susan Carroll. He is survived by: his brother William Epley (Bill) of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.; his daughters, Susan Epley and Carolyn Epley Nicholas (Jay); his brother John of Enid; his son-in-law Jay; and his grandsons, Stephen, John and Brent Nicholas.

Memorials may be made in his honor to Our Daily Bread, Catholic Charities, or The Enid Tennis Association with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
