He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett, Sr. Thompson and Ruth Louise Sneiff Thompson; his wife Judy Sharon Punneo; his children, Kelly Peterson and Bryan Thompson; and his grandchildren, Brynn and Blake Peterson.

The family has selected St. Jude's Hospital as appropriate for memorial donations.
