He was predeceased by: his mother Leona Ruth Handley (Clayton); his wife Betty Lafitte; his father Virgil Handley (Vivian); his son Delbert Kent; and his siblings, Vernon Handley, Bob Handley, Jerry Handley, Ruth Wanger (Handley), Leo Allen and Jimmy Bert.
He is survived by: his former spouse Delberta Marie Wilson (Del); his son-in-law Tommy Martin; his daughters, Cindy Handley of Hattiesburg, MS and Debi Martin (Tommy) of Moundville, AL; his grandchildren, Bret Carr (Brandi), Sara Carr, Savannah Shaw, Rachel Hobson and Michael Martin; and his great grandchildren, Cruise, Bartleigh, Steven Michael and Arianna.
