He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive mother Madeleine Thompson; his grandchildren, Jett, Danaë, Gabe and Addison; his great grandchild Ellie; his wife Anita Thompson; his children, Melissa Thompson and Mark Thompson (Kim); his sister Marilyn Stringfellow; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Fischer.

Memorial donations can be made to Hunter United Methodist Church or White Cemetery with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
