It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kious of Enid, Oklahoma, born in Girard, Kansas, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred B. Borden and Pearl Borden (Brown); her husband Bill; and her siblings, Esther Freeman, Parker, Clark, Bill and Max Borden.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Young, Jim Kious (Jeannie), Becki Koehler (Tom) and Janna Thompson (Robert); her grandchild Chris Young (Philisha); her children, Chad Young (Amber), Shani Dear (Jeff), Joe Kious (Jody), Nathan Kious, Amber Warden (Zane), Kimberly Pyle (Chad), Kenton (Elizabeth Schumacher) and Tyler Thompson; and her sisters-in-law, Myrna Hershberger and Linda Hodgden (Bill). She is also survived by her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and then her great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Gail's honor through the funeral home to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
