He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Marcella Briggs; his stepchildren, Jimmy Newman, Joyce Newman and Robbie Newman; and his grandchildren, Joe Don Newman, Scott Newman, Kyle Newman, Rob Ogle, Loreal Montague Stroud, Stacey Newman, Brittney Federko, Dylan Newman, Quin Newman, Sophie Newman, Jude Newman, Jo Lynn Jones, Amanda White, Chandra Cissell, Hana Kimberling and Abbie Newman. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
