He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Nightengale Elder; his brother Bob Elder; his parents-in-law, Bill and Ella Rhodes; and his siblings-in-law, Mary, Lola, Carlon, Harvey, Gene, Johm Billy and Bobby.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Rhodes; his son Allen (Jackie Elder) of Enid; his grandson Johnathan (Brittany Elder); his great grandchildren, Brock and Belle Elder; his siblings, Carroll Wedel and Danny (Janie Elder); and his sister-in-law JoAnn Baldwin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
