He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie John and Evelyn Fugazzi (Sims); his son Darrin Fugazzi; and his siblings, Jo Ann and Bob.

He is survived by: his spouse DorothyMae Kiser; his sons, Daniel (Jennifer Fugazzi), Steven Laird, David Fugazzi Jr. of Enid and Dale Fugazzi of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Timothy, Erica, Amber and Aiden; his great grandchildren, Cory, Logan and Wesley; and his sister Shirley Ross of Kentucky. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
