He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Melrose and Junetta Melrose (Geyer); and his siblings, Ella May Seigman, Dolly June Lewis, Marguerite Louise McCants, Leland Bennett Melrose and Richard Wayne Melrose.
He is survived by: his siblings, Christine Irene Schomber, Eldon Merle Melrose and Elwin Leon Melrose (Judy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
