He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Sue Bush and Warren Bush; his siblings, Sally O'Neil, Patricia "Pat" Maly and William "Bill" Bush; and his father-in-law Marvin Tehven.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Tehven); his children, Tyan (Rachel) of Enid and Miranda (Micha Felton) of Broken Arrow; his mother-in-law Jane Tehven of Enid; his sister Doris Langkiet of Great Falls, MT; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Mason, Reece, Beckett and Jonah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
