Joy left this world on July 26, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harris and Laura Harris; her husband George A. Smith; and her son Mike Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Danny Smith (Debbie) of Branson and Pat Smith (Karla) of Stillwater; and also Janice Ballard of VanAlystine, Texas.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Dementia Society of America with Brown-Cummings, serving as custodian of the funds.
