He was predeceased by: his father Franklin D. Shive; and his brother Franklin D. Shive, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother Craig Shive (Lynda); his nephews, Landry (Courtney), Andy, Shad (Ceann) and Gentrie; and his niece Alesha.
