He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Ann (Chris Apel) and Kristi Jo (Kristi Herd); his wife Leah Marie Moody; his grandchildren, Sarah (Herd), Chase Bardwell, Carlee (Apel), Garrett Reynolds, Cole Apel, Anna (Herd), Connor Williams and Channing Apel; his brother Ira Eugene "Gene" Kennedy (Roberta); his nieces and nephews, Pamela Varner, Joleyne Temple, Twyla Woodward, Soni Fort, Johnelle Baker, Junelea Alexander, Max Kennedy, Debbie Simmons, Rex Kennedy and Mitch Kennedy; and also Tracey Shorter (Sapsworth).
