He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Porter; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Mildred Hobson. He is survived by: his mother Melva Porter of Pauls Valley; his wife Melanie Porter; his son James Porter (Megan); his grandchildren, Caleb, Cameron and Elizabeth of Utah; his daughter Shannon Jones (Cody) of Choctaw; and his brother David Porter (Sue).
