It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia O. Darnell in Elk City, Oklahoma, born in Apache, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil O. Tucker and Wanda Wanette Tucker (Waterman); her husband Gene Darnell; and her siblings, Louise Waterbury, Dorothy Smith and Kenneth Tucker.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Dustin Darnell, Brady Hargis, Morgan Darnell, Logan Wright, Bryce Hargis and Wyatt Williamson; her children, Lori, Mike, Michele, Pat, Robert Stafford (Apache), Rita Darnell (Apache), Randy Hargis (Elk City) and Belinda Darnell (Cache); her grandchildren, Cari, Mike Clodfelter (Apache), Nichole, Joe Davis (Apache), Jessica Darnell (Roff), Kristin, Michael Dennington (Apache), Hannah Hargis (Tulsa), Megan Hargis (Springfield), Maresa, Cheyenne Hill (Apache), Blair Darnell (Kernersville), Molly Wright (Kernersville), Kacee, Chris Pate (Houston), Michelle, Rondo Kopepasah (Anadarko) and John Stafford (Apache); her great grandchildren, Wyatt Williamson, Cara, Henry Cole, Kyler VandenBroeck, Jesse Lamb, Patrick Davis, MaKenzi, Kaden Darnell, Rainee, McKinley Dennington, Addison, Cadence, Jaxon Pate, Boston, London, Baker Hargis, Colton, Sammy, Gryffin Serbanic, Brooklyn, Chandler Darnell and Salem Wright; her great great grandchildren, Jackson and Anderson Cole; and her close friend Bob Jacobson of Roseburg, Oregon..
