It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virdia Adkerson (Elk City, Oklahoma), who passed away on June 14, 2018, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Barney McCoy Adkerson; her sons, Herman Adkerson and Coy Adkerson; and her son-in-law Jackie Todd. She is survived by: her children, Joe Adkerson (Sharon) and Betty Todd of Carter, OK; her daughters-in-law, Diane Adkerson and Debbie Adkerson; and also, Joe, Betty, Herman and Coy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
