He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Francis Brinkley (Musick) and Rheuben Brinkley; and his siblings, Melrose Brinkley, Hubert Brinkley, Kenneth Brinkley, Troy Brinkley, Oren Brinkley, Dale Brinkley and Imogene Todd.
He is survived by: his children, Little Ray Brinkley of Aurora, Tim Gallagher (Amiee) of Elk City, Oklahoma, Ben Brinkley of Elk City, Oklahoma, Ryan Brinkley (Maggie) of Elk City, Oklahoma, Melody Stephens (Jim) of Weatherford, Dianna Myer (Rick) of West Union and Tiffany Black (Jason) of Elk City, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Melvin Brinkley (Donna) of Elk City, Oklahoma, Aubrey Brinkley of Elk City, Oklahoma, Christy Marshall (Donnie) and Mary Ruth Thome of Elk City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
