Dies); her son-in-law Dan Cocannouer of Altus; her grandchildren, Brad O'Hara (Toni) of Elk City, Josh Dies (Bree) of Buffalo, OK., Traci O'Hara Morgan (Kent) of Elk City, Carissa Dies Vorndran (Joe) of Shawnee, Janie Cocannouer Pence (Cory) of Frisco, TX and Josie Cocannouer Blackburn (Colton) of Edmond; her great grandchildren, Luci of Elk City, Gus of Elk City, Molli of Elk City, Henry of Elk City, Georgi O'Hara of Elk City, Jack of Elk City, Rex Morgan of Elk City, Jude, Conner, Audrey Vorndran of Shawnee, Lizzie, Ella Dies, Dal Henricks of Buffalo, OK, Max, Clara Pence of Frisco, TX, Beau and Jeri Blackburn of Edmond; and her siblings, Noel Patten of Sayre, Dwayne Patten (Carter), Ruth Patten Harris (Joe) of Bixby, OK and Estelline Patten Coffey (Jim) of Elk City.

“Dear Patten and Burch Family, My heart is aching as you can imagine!! Nelda and I made so many memories growing up together and many of you were also included at times. Dean and I were in Sayre Jr. College at the same time, so I was happy when they got together. If not for your family there would never have been Carter School memories and for that I am so very grateful. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love to all of you, Velta Northrip”
