She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam William and Esther A. Jay (Wickard); her husband George Alvin Russell; her daughter Beverly Sue Russell; the parents of child, Sam William and Esther A. Jay; and her sister-in-law Beverly Jay.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Russell (Doneita) of Elk City and Rodney Russell of Elk City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Stacee Blake (Ian) of Bixby, Jeremy Russell (Priscilla) of San Antonio, Kelli Jordan (Kim) of Elk City and Brad Elder of Hinton, Oklahoma; her brother Sam Jay of Elk City; her nephew Scott Jay of Elk City, Oklahoma; her niece Tina Mannering (Mark) of Thomas, Oklahoma; and her close friend Ann Gibbs of Elk City. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel (600 W Country Club Blvd, Elk City, OK 73644).
