He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Jean Merriman (Payne) and Jack Merriman; his son Chris Merriman; and his sister Linda Owsley. He is survived by: his close friend Carla Major of Elk City; his son Steve Merriman (Janna); his brothers, Kevin Merriman and Patrick Merriman (Sue); and his grandchildren, Collin, Paige, Cassie and Gianna Merriman.
