She is survived by: her children, Tommy Fowler (Sheri) of Elk City, Jammie Appleton (Eric Brooks), Charrie Appleton of Elk City, Brandi Hamilton of Elk City, Valerie Castro (Katy) of Elk City and Kimberlie Ritchie (Stephen) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her sister Virginia Ortiz of Elk City, Oklahoma; her stepmother Nora Lee Cowell of Ward, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Alie Hamilton, Kamie Castro, Jennifer Yandell, Ashley Thomas, Riley Appleton, Colby Robinson, Tyler Fowler, Trever Fowler, Brayden Robertson, Jayce Hamilton and Blayne Bell. She is also survived by her friends, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She went to be with her Lord on February 9, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with Covid at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma surrounded by her kids and grandkids she was ushered into Heaven, so ready to meet Jesus.
