He is survived by: his wife Juanita Faye Shockey of Elk City, Oklahoma; his pet Sarge; his daughters, Starla Hay (Brian) of Cheyenne, Trena Moler of Elk City and Kathleen Courtney of Sentinel, Oklahoma; his siblings, Larry Courtney (Lou Ella) of Yukon, David Courtney (Teana) of Barling, Arkansas, Terry Courtney of Elk City and Brenda Adkins (Raymond) of Sayre, Oklahoma; and his aunt Helen Jo Chester.
