She is survived by: her sister Travonna Wootton (Verlin); her children, Bennie Van Vacter III (Elizabeth Jean), Veronica Hill and Leon Ramsey II (Karisa); her grandson Trey Ramsey (Christine); her nephews, Dr. Tom Jackson, Richard Hatter and Rod Prather; and her niece Devon Nunemann. She is also survived by numerous relatives and dear friends.
